Prof. Dr. Amna Shoaib, the esteemed Chairperson of the Department of Plant Pathology at the University of the Punjab, led a delegation to the Pakistan Agro Show 2025, held from 8th to 10th September, at the Expo Centre, Lahore. She was accompanied by her faculty members, including Prof. Dr. Uzma Bashir, Prof. Dr. Shazia Shafique, and Dr. Tariq Manzoor, as well as students Mr. Nauman Ali, Miss Mahnoor Shahid, and Miss Mahrukh Akram. Accompanied by her team, Prof. Dr. Amna Shoaib attended the event on 10th September 2025. During the event, various stalls, viz., Sun Way Agrochemicals and seeds, Mukammal Biofertilizers, FMC Agricultural Sciences Company, Gourmet Fertilizers, Faisalabad Agriculture University stall, Punjab Government Transformation in Agriculture, and many other stalls were visited. The show provided a valuable platform for the team to engage with industry experts, explore innovative agricultural practices, and stay updated on the latest developments in the field. The visit not only underscored the department’s commitment to advancing agricultural knowledge but also highlighted the university’s role in fostering collaborations between academia and industry. Through such interactions, the Department of Plant Pathology, under the umbrella of Prof. Dr. Amna Shoaib, aims to contribute to the growth and sustainability of Pakistan’s agricultural sector.
